Solution

Piyush alone can complete a work in 8 days and Arun alone can complete the same work in 14 days.

Ratio of their one day work = $$\frac{1}{8} : \frac{1}{14}$$ = 7:4

If both are paid 44000 ,

the Piyush will be paid = $$\frac{7}{11} \times 44000$$ = 28000

So, the answer would be option c)₹28000
