Solution

Given, A takes $$7\frac{1}{2}$$ days to finish $$\frac{5}{8}^{th}$$ of the work

$$\Rightarrow$$ Number of days required to complete the total work = $$\frac{7.5}{\frac{5}{8}}$$ = $$\frac{7.5\times8}{5}$$ = 12 days

Hence, total work is done in 12 days
