Total age of 36 students = $$ 36 \times 23 = 828 $$
Total age of 4 students = $$ 4 \times 22 = 88 $$
When 4 students leave the group remaining 32 students
average age of 32 students = $$ \frac{828-88}{32} = 23.1 $$
