52-56 ==> $$\frac{52+56}{2}\ =\ 54$$

56-60 ==> $$\frac{56+60}{2}\ =\ 58$$

Mean batting average per batsman = $$\frac{42\times12+46\times10+50\times8+54\times6+58\times4}{12+10+8+6+4}$$
