Study the given table and answer the question that follows.
The table shows the number of copies of a book sold by seven different shops on a pat1icular day.

The cost of each copy of the book is ₹70. What is the total cost of all the copies of the book that got sold on that day from all these seven shops taken together?

Solution

According to question 7 book shopkeeper sold books with price Rs 70/ per book

$$S1=42\times\ 70=2940$$

$$S2=38\times\ 70=2660$$

$$S3=61\times\ 70=4270$$

$$S4=39\times\ 70=2730$$

$$S5=51\times\ 70=3570$$

$$S6=59\times\ 70=4130$$

$$S7=60\times\ 70=4200$$

The total Cost is $$2940\ +\ 2660\ +\ 4270+2730+3570+4130+4200=24500$$

Hence option C is the correct answer
