The average age of 5 children is 10 years.
Sum of the ages of 5 children = $$10\times5$$ = 50
If two more children of ages 11 years and 16 years join, then New average age = $$\frac{50+11+16}{5+2}$$
= $$\frac{77}{7}$$
= 11 years
