The area of an equilateral triangle is $$9\sqrt{3}$$ sq cm, find its perimeter?

Solution

Let the side of equilateral triangle = $$a$$ cm

Area of equilateral triangle = $$\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4} a^2 = 9 \sqrt{3}$$

=> $$a^2 = 9 \times 4 = 36$$

=> $$a = \sqrt{36} = 6$$ cm

$$\therefore$$ Perimeter of equilateral triangle = $$3 a$$

= $$3 \times 6 = 18$$ cm

=> Ans - (A)
