Let cost price = Re. 1/gm = Rs. 1000/kg

Weight used by the seller = $$1000-(\frac{20}{100}\times1000)=800$$ gm

Selling price = $$1000+(\frac{10}{100}\times1000)=Rs.$$ $$1100$$

=> Selling price per gm = $$\frac{1100}{800}=Rs.$$ $$1.375$$ /gm

$$\therefore$$ Profit % = $$\frac{(1.375-1)}{1}\times100=37.5\%$$
