If the total amount spent on sports during the year be ₹18000, the amount spent on Cricket exceeds that on football by (in ₹):

Total amount spent on sports during the year be ₹18000

Therefore, $$360^\circ=18000$$

$$=1^\circ=50$$

Cricket exceeds that on football by $$=81^\circ-54^\circ = 27^\circ$$

Therefore, the amount spent exceeds by $$=50\times27 = ₹1350$$
