Question 59

The profit earned by a company is to be divided among three friends who invested their money in the company, in the proportion of 6: 9: 11. If the share of the person who invested the most is ₹2,310, then what is the sum of the money (in ₹) received by the other two friends?

Let's assume the profit of three friends is 6y, 9y, and 11y.

As we know that the profit is divided among them as per their investment.

If the share of the person who invested the most is ₹2,310.

so 11y = 2310

y = 210

the sum of the money (in ₹) received by the other two friends = 6y+9y

= 15y

= $$15\times210$$

= 3150
