The cost price and the selling price of a shirt are ₹960 and ₹1392 respectively. If by way of bargaining a customer can bring the selling price down by 10% of the cost price, then what is the profit percentage?
Given the CP of the shirt=960 and SP of the shirt =1392
The profit when after bargaining the SP comes down to 10% of CP i.e. 96
So new SP will be = 1392-96 = 1296.
Hence, Profit % = $$\frac{SP - CP}{CP}$$ $$\times$${100}$$ $$
= $$\frac{1296-960}{960}$$ $$\times$${100}$$ $$
= 35 %
