Let's assume the number of students who passed and failed the exam are P and F respectively.
69P+61F = 66(P+F)
69P+61F = 66P+66F
69P-66P = 66F-61F
3P = 5F
P : F = 5 : 3
Percentage of students who passed = $$\frac{5}{5+3}\times\ 100$$
= $$\frac{5}{8}\times\ 100$$
= 62.5%
