Question 57

The volume of a cuboid is 3600 $$cm^{3}$$. If the length and the breadth of the cuboid are 20 cm and 12 cm, respectively, then what is the height of this cuboid?

Solution

The volume of a cuboid is 3600 $$cm^{3}$$.

volume of a cuboid = $$length \times breadth \times height$$

$$3600 = length \times breadth \times height$$
If the length and the breadth of the cuboid are 20 cm and 12 cm, respectively

$$3600=20\times12\times height$$
$$15=height$$
So the height of this cuboid = 15 cm
