Solution
Let's assume the efficiency of A is '4y'.
B is 25% more efficient than A.
the efficiency of B = 125% of the efficiency of A
=Â $$\frac{5}{4}\times\ 4y$$
= 5y
A can do a work in 15 days.
Total work =Â $$15\times4y$$ = 60y
Time taken by A and B together to complete the same work = $$\frac{60y}{4y+5y}$$
=Â $$\frac{60y}{9y}$$
= $$\frac{20}{3}$$ days
