Solution

Total 1 hour work = 2d + 5d + 3d = 10d

Work completed in 21 hours

=> total Work = 21 $$\times$$ 10d = 210d

40% part of work = (40/100) $$\times$$ 210d = 84d

B's 1 hour work = 3d

B can complete 40% part of that work in = 84d $$\div$$3d = 28

So , the answer would be option b)28.
