Question 54

If $$P = 7 \times 4 - 3, Q = 8 \div 4 + 2$$, and $$R = 14 \div 21 \times 9$$, then what is the value of P $$\times$$ Q + R?

Solution

According to question P=$$7\times\ 4\ -\ 3$$ Q=$$\frac{8}{4}\ +\ 2$$ R=$$\frac{14}{21}\times\ 9$$
$$P\times\ Q\ +\ R$$

p=$$7\times\ 4\ -\ 3$$

p=$$28\ -\ 3$$

p=$$25$$

Q=$$\frac{8}{4}\ +\ 2$$

Q=$$2+\ 2$$

Q=$$4$$

R=$$\frac{14}{21}\times\ 9$$

R=$$0.66666666666\times\ 9$$

R= $$6$$

$$P\times\ Q\ +\ R$$

$$25\times\ 4\ +\ 6$$

$$100\ +\ 6$$

$$106$$
Hence option D is the correct answer
