A factory buys 7 machines. 2 Machine A, 2 Machine B and rest Machine C. Prices of the machines are Rs 95000, Rs 75000 and Rs 43000 respectively. Calculate the average cost of these machines?

Solution

Cost of machines A, B and C respectively are : Rs. 95000 , 75000 and 43000

Number of machines A, B and C respectively are : 2 , 2 , 3

=> Total cost = $$(2 \times 95000) + (2 \times 75000) + (3 \times 43000)$$

= 190,000 + 150,000 + 129,000 = Rs. 4,69,000

$$\therefore$$ Average cost = $$\frac{4,69,000}{7}$$ = Rs. 67,000

=> Ans - (B)
