Ticket for an adult is Rs 1500 and a child is Rs 800. 1 child goes free with two adults. If a group has 25 adults and 12 children what is the discount the group gets?

Cost price of adult ticket = Rs. 1500 and child ticket = Rs. 800

For 25 adults and 12 children, total cost = $$(25 \times 1500) + (12 \times 800)$$ 

= $$37500 + 9600 = Rs. 47,100$$

If one child goes free with two adults, => 12 children will go with 24 adults, thus all the children will go for free.

Cost of 25 adults = $$25 \times 1500 = Rs. 37,500$$

Discount % = $$\frac{47100 - 37500}{47100} \times 100$$
