Question 29

If 2 = 0, 5 = 1 and 8 = 4, then 11 = ?

Solution

Given : $$2=(0)^2=0$$

$$5=(1)^2=1$$

$$8=(2)^2=4$$

The number on the left is increasing by 3, and the number on the right is the square of consecutive whole numbers.

Thus, $$11=(3)^2=9$$

=> Ans - (B)
