Sandy and Mandy do $$(8/13)^{th}$$ part of a work and the rest of the work was completed by Andy. If Sandy, Mandy and Andy take the same work for Rs 2600, then what is the share (in Rs) of Andy?

Solution

Total amount distributed = Rs. 2600

Let total work = 1 unit

=> Work done by Sandy and Mandy = $$\frac{8}{13}$$

=> Work done by Andy = $$1-\frac{8}{13}=\frac{5}{13}$$

$$\therefore$$ Share of Andy = $$\frac{5}{13}\times2600=Rs.$$ $$1000$$

=> Ans - (D)
