Question 203

# Which of the following members of families Y and Z travel in different cars ?

Solution

C(female) , F(female) and A(male)  belongs to family Y.

H(male) , B(female) and G(male) belong to same family Z.

D (female) travels in car I and E (male) travels in car II and they are of same family i.e., family X.

A travels in car III and C travels in car II, => F travels in car I, since they belong to same family.

Now, B,G and H are left among them only B is female, since in each car there is at least one male and female, now car III in which A(male) travels, => B(female) also travel in car III.

$$\because$$ B,G and H belong to same family and B travels in car III, => G or H travel in either car I or II.

G does not travel with F, => G travels in car II and H in car I.

F of family Y and G of family Z travel in different cars i.e., car I and II respectively.

=> Ans - (A)
