The pie chart shows the share in profits of the year 2017 of seven partners in a business. Study the diagram and answer the following questions.
If the business makes Rs 45 lakh profit which is distributed between the partners how much does C get (in Rs lakhs)?
Share in profits of partner C = 20
Total Profit (in Rs lakhs) of the business of the year 2017
= 70 + 30 + 20 + 60 + 60 + 90 + 30 = 360
=> Percentage of profit shared by C = $$\frac{20}{360}\times100=\frac{50}{9}\%$$
Now, profit made = Rs. 45 lakhs
Thus, C will get $$\frac{50}{9}\%$$ of Rs. 45 lakhs
= $$\frac{50}{9\times100}\times45$$
= $$\frac{5}{2}=2.5$$
=> Ans - (B)
