If ‘x’ means ‘addition”, ‘-’ means ‘division’, ‘$$\div$$’ means `subtraction’ and ‘+’ means ‘multiplication’, then which of the following equations is correct ?

Solution

(A) : 16 + 5 - 10 × 4 ÷ 3 = 9

$$\equiv16\times5\div10+4-3=9$$

= $$\frac{80}{10}+1$$

= $$8+1=9=$$ R.H.S.
