A 800 metres long train is running at the speed of 90 km/hr. If it crosses a bridge in 50 seconds, then what is the length (in metres) of the bridge?
Let length of bridge = $$l$$ m and length of train = 800 m
Speed of train = 90 km/hr = $$(90\times\frac{5}{18})=25$$ m/s
Using, distance = speed $$\times$$ time
=> $$l+800=25\times50$$
=> $$l=1250-800=450$$ m
