Given : XY = 15 and XT = 9

To find : RT = ?

Solution : Here, XY and XZ are tangents from the same point, so they must be equal.

=> XZ = XY = 15

Also, ZT = XZ - XT = 15-9

=> ZT = 6 cm

Now, ZT and RT are tangents from the same point, so they are also equal.

=> ZT = RT = 6 cm
