Question 150

The profit earned by company R is equal to the 1/4th of the expenditure of company Q. What is the profit (in Rs crores) of company R?

Solution

Total expenditure (in Rs crores) = 48

Expenditure of company Q = $$\frac{22}{100}\times48$$

Also, Profit earned by company R = $$\frac{1}{4}^{th}$$ Expenditure of company Q

=> Profit earned by company R = $$\frac{1}{4}\times\frac{22}{100}\times48$$

= $$\frac{22\times12}{100}=2.64$$

=> Ans - (C)
