In 1 minute A,B and C together can fill the tank is$$=(1/20)+(1/25)+(1/40)$$
$$=(10+8+5)/200$$
$$=23/200.$$
So,in 10 minutes they can fill $$(230/200).$$
B can fill in 10 minutes is$$=10/25.$$
So, proportion in B will be
$$=(200/230)×(10/25).$$
$$=8/23.$$
So, C is correct choice.
