What is the difference between the average percentage of marks in vernacular of the districts (D1, D2, D4) and (D3, D5)?

Solution

Average percentage of marks in vernacular of the districts (D1, D2, D4) = $$\frac{(80+70+75)}{3}=\frac{225}{3}=75$$

Average percentage of marks in vernacular of the districts (D3, D5) = $$\frac{(50+55)}{2}=\frac{105}{2}=52.5$$

=> Required difference = $$75-52.5=22.5\%$$

=> Ans - (D)
