Shri X goes to his office by scooter at a speed of 30 km/h and reaches 6 minutes earlier. If he goes at a speed of 24 km/h, he reaches 5 minutes late. The distance of his office is
As distance is constant , hence ratio of speed and time will remain same.
so $$\frac{30}{60} : (t_1 - 6) = \frac{24}{60} : (t_1 + 5)$$ (where $$t_1$$ is actual time taken in min.)
Solving above equation, we will get value of $$t_1 = 50 min.$$
And distance will be = $$\frac{30}{60} \times (50-6) = 22km.$$
