Question 14

A is taller than B but smaller than E. C is the smallest of all. D is taller than A but smaller than E. Who is the tallest of the five?

Solution

A is taller than B but smaller than E, => E > A > B

Also, C is the smallest of all.

D is taller than A but smaller than E, => E > D > A

Combining above statements, we get : E > D > A > B > C

$$\therefore$$ E is the tallest of the five.

=> Ans - (D)
