Question 13

In a certain code language, "PEN-TAN" is written as "0". How is "DEN-COB" written in that code language?

Solution

The pattern followed is that for the numerical position of alphabets :

"PEN-TAN" = $$(16+5+14)-(20+1+14)=35-35=0$$

Similarly, "DEN-COB" = $$(4+5+14)-(3+15+2)=23-20=3$$

=> Ans - (B)
