Solution

It is given that 10 students are selected

and 3 were of 20 years age, 4 of 21 and 3 of 22 years

As we know that average age = $$\frac{Sum of Ages}{NumberofStudents}$$

=$$\frac{(20x3)+(21x4)+(22x3)}{10}$$

= 21 years
