What is the difference between the greatest four digit and the smallest four digit number using the digits 2, 9, 6 and 5 (each digit can be used only once)?

Solution

Given digits are 2,9,6,5

Smallest digit formed by given digits is = 2569

Greatest digit formed by given digits is = 9652

Difference between smallest and greatest digits=

9652-2569=7083
