A man, a woman and a boy together finish a piece of work in 6 days. If a man and a woman can do the work in 10 and 24 days respectively. The days taken by a boy to finish the work is

take the lcm of 6,10,24= 120
lets assume total work to be 120 units
work done by a man per day = $$\frac{120}{10}$$ = 12
work done by a woman per day = $$\frac{120}{24}$$ = 5
work done by all three together per day = $$\frac{120}{6}$$ = 20
so that means work done by C per day = 20-12-5 = 3
total days needed by the boy to finish the work = $$\frac{120}{3}$$ = 40 days
