Question 11

The base of a parallelogram is twice its height. If the area is 392 sq.m, What is its the height?

Solution

Area of the parallelogram(A) = base(b) x height(h)

392 = 2 x h$$^{2}$$

196 = h$$^{2}$$

h = 14 m

Hence, option A is the correct answer.
