What is the Syllabus of the NPAT Exam?

Quantitative Reasoning Section (40 Questions):
This section tests candidate’s mathematical skills at level of 10th and 12th grades. Some of the important topics of this section are

Logical Reasoning Section (40 Questions):
This section assesses a candidate's ability to see patterns and think critically. Some of the important topics of this section are
- Critical Reasoning focuses on Statement-Assumption and Strength of Arguments.
- Analytical Reasoning includes Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations and Seating Arrangements.
- Visual Reasoning consists of figuring out patterns from Visuals and Figuring out Spatial Orientation.
Verbal Reasoning Section (40 Questions):

NPAT Eligibility Criteria
The NPAT eligibility requirements are important to understand prior to filing an application so that you are not disqualified from being able to participate later. The following information outlines those requirements.
Educational Requirements for Applicants: All candidates applying for any of the programs offered under NPAT exam must have successfully completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) from an accredited institution including CBSE Board, ICSE Board, State Board, IB and NIOS. An applicant who plans to complete their 10+2 (or equivalent) in 2026 will also be eligible to submit an application.
Educational Requirement: Applicants must have successfully completed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination through an accredited institution such as CBSE Board, ICSE Board, State Board, IB and NIOS. Minimum Academic Requirement: For BBA, B.Sc. Finance, and B.Com (Hons), typically a candidate will need to have at least 50% to 60% of their total marks in Class 12. The minimum academic requirement will vary by campus and program.
Required Pre-Requisites Subject: To be eligible for these programs, applicants must have either taken Mathematics or Statistics as a subject in their Grade 12. If you have not completed either Mathematics or Statistics during your 12th grade, you are not eligible for admission to some of the programs.
