NPAT Exam Fees Category-wise
NMIMS NPAT has the same structure for all the candidates when it comes to paying the exam fee, unlike some government entrance exams in India such as JEE or NEET, where there are fee concessions for SC/ST and OBC candidates. NPAT does not have a fee waiver available for candidates based on their particular category. The categories in the NPAT exam refer to the various test categories / schools within the NMIMS system and are the same throughout.
NPAT Exam Fees Based on School Selection:
Each time a candidate adds another school to their list of preferred schools, the exam fee will increase. The following table provides detail breakdown of the NMIMS NPAT 2026 application fees based on the number of schools selected by candidates:

NPAT Exam Fee Refund Policy
All candidates must understand that once they have paid their NPAT exam registration fees, which are non- refundable and non-transferable, they cannot seek reimbursement under any circumstances. A candidate will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances, which includes
- The candidate does not show up for the exam,
- Disqualified due to an admission requirement that does not meet the qualifications set forth by NMIMS,
- Make a mistake filling out their registration form,
- Due to a computer malfunction at their end of the testing process, etc.
Admission Fee policy:
NMIMS also provides documentation on tuition fee refunds to students who withdraw from an admission that is being offered after acceptance has been granted through the NPAT exam.
A full refund will be given to any candidate who drops their acceptance within 15 days, and there will be no refunds for any candidates who withdraw after 30 days have passed from the date they received notice of their acceptance for the program.

NPAT Exam Fee Changes
Over time, NMIMS has introduced a multi-phase registration system. For 2026, the fee structure continues to include "incremental school" methods for fee structure as in the previous year.
Exam fees for Phase 1 and Phase 2: Both phases have the same registration fee but Phase 1 has slots available for testing on a much earlier date (February-March) than Phase 2, which is ideal for students who want to take their entrance exams before the Board examinations or any other major testing events.
Rescheduling- Once a candidate makes a reservation for a specific date, they cannot reschedule the exam. If they are unable to arrive on time for their appointment, they need to pay a retake fee to be able to reschedule again.
NPAT Exam Fee Payment Modes & Additional Charges
NMIMS has a safe and reliable online payment portal, so candidates must use one of the following electronic methods. There will not be any offline mode of payments (cash or demand drafts).
The following payment methods are allowed in the NPAT Exam:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
- Debit Card (all major banks operating in India)
- Net Banking (most nationalised or private banks)
- UPI (by way of well-known mobile applications such as GPay, PhonePe or Paytm).
Internet Reliability: Make sure to have reliable internet access when making your payment. If payment has been deducted, but you do not receive a "Confirmation Page", please wait 24 to 48 hours before trying to make your second attempt.
Additional charges to consider:
When making a payment of the NPAT examination fee, you should be aware of the following additional charges:
Bank Gateway charges: The candidate may have a convenience fee or a processing fee, which will usually be between 0.5% to 2%, depending on the bank
GST: Depending on the payment method, GST is included in ₹2000 at the final checkout page
