IIMB UG 90 Days Preparation Plan 2026

If you are starting your IIMB UG preparation 90 days before the exam, the biggest question is not how many hours you should study, but what your study plan should be, when you should start taking IIMB UG mock tests, and how to divide your time between the three sections. The preparation should go through three important phases: building basic concepts, intensive practice, and mock tests with final revision. This 90-day IIMB UG study plan breaks preparation into small targets so that students know what to study, when to practise, when to take mocks and how to analyse their performance before the exam.

IIMB UG can be easily prepared in 90 days with a structured study plan, constant practice and regular mock-test analysis. With the IIMB UG exam roughly three months away, you don't need more time; you need to start smarter preparation. A 3-month IIMB UG preparation plan should focus on building strong basics in the first month, followed by constant practice and speed improvement in the second month and ending with overall and sectional mock tests and revision in the final month.

IIMB UG Exam Preparation in 90 Days

Students start studying directly without any strong strategy is the biggest mistake they make; in less time they need to realise the importance of important topics, high-weightage topics, etc. A 90-day preparation strategy should not mean studying for the same number of hours every day. Instead, divide your preparation into smaller parts. Students need to first understand the complete IIMB UG syllabus and IIMB UG exam pattern before starting anything.

  • Daily study routine helps students maintain momentum and discipline throughout the 90-day preparation period instead of depending on irregular and lengthy study sessions.
  • 90-day preparation plan helps students to focus first on concept building, then on intensive practice, and finally on mocks, revision and exam-day strategy.
  • Make a section-wise study schedule to ensure that Quantitative & Data Interpretation must be given more time, as the weightage of this section is more than the other two, Logical Reasoning and English Comprehension.
  • Frequent mock and sectional test analysis helps students find weak areas, repeated mistakes, and accuracy mistakes.
  • Make weekly goals for the 90 days so that the target becomes easier to manage and give students ease of completing these milestones.
  • Regular revision Sessions help previously completed concepts and formulas remain fresh in your mind; don't leave the revision for the last month.

IIMB UG 90 Days Study Plan

A 3-month study plan for the IIMB UG exam is important for students aiming to score well in a short amount of time. With only 90 days available, a structured approach helps cover the syllabus systematically while maintaining a balance between all the sections Quantitative & Data Interpretation, English Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning. The first month should focus on building strong fundamentals and understanding important concepts across all three sections. The second month should be dedicated to intensive practice, where students can improve their speed, accuracy, and question-solving skills under time limits. Regular sectional tests during this phase can help identify weak topics and track progress. The third and final month should focus on full-length mock tests, revision, and exam strategy. Solving mocks under timed conditions helps students become comfortable with the exam pattern, improve question selection, manage time effectively, and build confidence for the actual IIMB UG exam.

IIMB UG 90 Days Quant Preparation Strategy

Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation are the most important sections of the IIMB UG exam. It consists of a total of 30 questions with a sectional time limit of 60 minutes. The overall exam time limit is 120 minutes. This section of the exam carries the highest weightage; that is why it becomes more important and requires a separate strategy. The other two sections are English Comprehension (with a sectional time limit of 30 minutes) and Logical Reasoning (with a sectional time limit of 30 minutes); each has 15 questions.

  • Begin with understanding the IIMB UG syllabus of Quantitative Aptitude and go through the PYQs of the Quant sections to understand the depth of questions.
  • Master Arithmetic. This means Percentages, Ratios, Averages, and Time & Work. This is the base for Data Interpretation. Then, come to Algebra, number system, and Geometry. Keep a one-pager of formula notes. Revise it daily.
  • Prioritise the Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation section, as it holds 50% weight in the exam; it should be given 50% of preparation time among all the sections.
  • Go through IIMB UG previous-year papers, and regular IIMB UG mock test analysis. Once you find the weak areas, work on them, as this section is more important than any other section.

How to Prepare for IIMB UG in 90 Days

Your daily preparation schedule plays an important role in your final IIMB UG performance. A focused 90-day approach can help you cover the syllabus, improve accuracy and become comfortable with the exam pattern.

  • Make a fixed daily study schedule of 3-4 hours and treat your preparation time as a regular commitment. Increase study hours slowly and try to study more on weekends (5-6 hours).
  • Complete the basics during the starting weeks so that the remaining preparation time can be used for question practice, sectional tests and mock exams.
  • Practise previous/sample papers regularly to understand the difficulty level, identify repeating themes and improve your ability to solve questions under time.
  • Analyse every sectional test and full-length mock carefully. Identify incorrect answers, unattempted questions, and time-consuming questions.
  • Keep a one-pager of revision notes containing important formulas, shortcuts, vocabulary, difficult concepts and frequently made mistakes for fast revision during the last weeks of preparation.

Is 90 Days Enough for IIMB UG?

Yes, a planned 90 days/3 months of preparation gives the applicants enough time without burnout to appear for the IIMB-UG. However, if you have prepared for any other entrance exams, they become easier for you. The key is to avoid spending all 90 days simply completing the syllabus. Go strong with your strategy; have faith in the things you read and develop confidence. A strong candidate should finish core concepts first, practise extensively in the middle phase and reserve the final month for mocks and revision.

IIMB UG 90 Days Preparation Plan 2026: Conclusion

The IIMB UG 90 Days Preparation Plan 2026 can help candidates complete their preparation in a systematic way by dividing the available time between concept building, question practice, sectional tests, mock tests and revision. Instead of trying to complete everything at once, students should follow weekly targets and maintain a balanced IIMB UG section-wise preparation strategy for Quantitative Aptitude & DI, English Comprehension and Logical Reasoning.

During the final weeks, candidates should shift their focus towards IIMB UG mock tests, detailed performance analysis and revision of important concepts. A consistent IIMB UG 3-month study plan combined with regular practice, proper time management and improvement of weak areas can help students approach the exam with better speed, accuracy and confidence.
