      CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024: Reservations Policy

      The candidate must review the CMAT reservation policy that is applicable to that specific institute in order to get admitted to colleges that accept CMAT scores.

      Private establishments have their own guidelines for reservations. Colleges and other institutions under the control of the Central Government of India are subject to the reservations listed below.       CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 Other Backward Classes Reservation

      The Central list of Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) can be found on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) website, which is maintained by the Government of India.

      CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 Persons with disabilities (PwD) Reservation

      Candidates who register for the PwD category on the CMAT 2024 form need to have the following factors in mind:

      • According to the RPwD Act's Section 2(t), a "Person with Disability (PwD)" is defined as any anyone who has a long-term mental, intellectual, physical, or sensory impairment that prevents them from fully and fairly participating in society.
        • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, as defined by Section 2® of the RPwD Act 2016, are defined as individuals who have at least 40% of a specified disability in cases where the disability has not been defined in measurable terms. This also includes individuals whose disability has been defined in measurable terms and has been certified by the certifying authority.

        CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 Scribe Policy

        PwD candidates can use a scribe to help them finish the CMAT 2024 exam if they are visually impaired, dyslexic, have upper limb disabilities, or have lost fingers or hands that prevent them from using the computer-based test platform. PwD candidates who require a scribe should keep the following in mind:

        • If an applicant needs certain accommodations, they must select them when registering for the CMAT in 2024. Following registration, no such arrangement will be made for the candidates.
        • Candidates will not be permitted to bring their own scribes; only scribes provided by the NTA will be accepted.
        • Test takers who meet the criteria for persons with cognitive disabilities will have an additional sixty minutes to finish their exam, regardless of whether they use a scribe or not.

              CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024: Conclusion

              In 2024, the CMAT exam will be administered by NTA in more than 100 Indian cities.
