What is the difference (in '000 quintals) in average production and average sales respectively of country C in the given four years?
Total production of country C over the 4 years (in '000 quintals) = 2038+1821+1937+3014 = 8810
Total sales of country C over the 4 years (in '000 quintals) = 2247+2018+2563+2988 = 9816
=> Surplus of country C (in '000 quintals) = 8810 - 9816 = -1006
$$\therefore$$ Average difference = $$\frac{-1006}{4}=-251.5$$
