The table given below shows the ratio of exports and imports of a country for 5 years.
Total trade = exports + imports
Total trade of Year 1 is twice of the total trade of Year 5. If total trade of Year 1 is 5700 crore dollars, then what is the difference (in crore dollars) in exports of Year 1 and Year 5?
Trade of year 1 = 5700
=> Exports of year 1 = $$\frac{10}{(10+9)}\times5700=3000$$
Also, trade of Year 1 is twice of the total trade of Year 5
=> Trade of year 5 = $$\frac{5700}{2}=2850$$
=> Exports of year 5 = $$\frac{12}{(12+13)}\times2850$$
= $$12\times114=1368$$
$$\therefore$$ Required difference = $$3000-1368=1632$$
