When a number is divided by 75, the remainder is 28. The remainder when the same number is divided by 25 is

Solution

The number will be of the form (75k+28)

75k+28 = 75k+25+3 = 25(3k+1)+3 = 25p+3

$$\therefore\ $$The remainder when (75k+28) is divided by 25 = 3

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
