If 4 squares of 4×4 is removed from each corner then length of the rectangle become

$$36-4-4=28cm$$ , breadth of the rectangle become$$=24-4-4=16cm$$ and height of the box is 4 cm.

So,volume of box is$$=28×16×4=1792.$$
