If the company has issued six lakh shares between its five partners and if Basu offers to sell 15,000 of his shares to Ejaz, will have how many shares ?

Solution

Total shares = 6,00,000

Original shares with Ejaz = $$\frac{35}{100} \times 600000 = 2,10,000$$

If Basu offers to sell 15000 of his shares to Ejaz,

=> Shares with Ejaz = 2,10,000 + 15,000 = 2,25,000

=> Ans - (C)
