Solution

From the above table,

total number of student in the college B $$= 350+400+450 =1200$$
total number of student in the science stream $$= 350$$

Hence, the required percentage $$\dfrac{350\times 100}{1200}=29.16\%$$
Hence, approximately $$29.2\%$$ student studying in the science stream.
