Solution

Total amount spent = Rs. 15,000,000

% amount spent on cricket = 25%

% amount spent on hockey = 15%

=> Total amount spent on cricket and hockey = $$\frac{(25+15)}{100} \times 15,000,000$$

= $$\frac{2}{5} \times 15,000,000=Rs.$$ $$6,000,000$$

=> Ans - (A)
