What is the ratio of the total cars sold by showroom B during the years 2014 and 2016 and the total cars sold by show room C during 2015 and 2016?

Solution

Total sales of B in 2014 and 2016 = 480 + 400 =880

Total sales of C in 2015 and 2016 = 540 + 430= 970

Required ratio = $$\frac{880}{970} =\frac{88}{97}$$

So , the answer would be option b)88:97.
