We know that formula of Gain % is :

[ { ( 100 + common gain %)² / 100 } − 100 ] %

Shopkeper cheats to the extent of 8% in time of buying and selling fruits. So, common gain % is 9 %.

Now, we have to put the values of common gain % in above formula and we get : $$({ \frac{( 100 + 9 \%)² }{100} } − 100 )\%$$

= 118.81 - 100 %

= 18.81 %

Total gain in percentage is 18.81.
