A train without stoppage travels with an average speed of 80 km/h and with stoppage,it travels with an average speed of 64 km/h. For how many minutes does the train stop on an average per hour?
Solution
As per the question,
When train is not stopping at any place, then it was reaching 80km in one hour
When it was stopping at the stopping, then it was reaching =64 km in hour,
Hence, the time taken by the train to getting stop on the stoppage $$=\dfrac{80-64}{80}\times 60 min$$
$$=\dfrac{16}{80}\times 60 min=12min$$
