Solution

Number of boys = $$\frac{60}{100} \times 50$$ = 30

Number of girls = 50 - 30 =20

Total marks of class = $$ 30 \times 62 + 20 \times 68$$ = 1860 + 1360 = 3220

Average marks of the class = $$\frac{3220}{50}$$ = 64.4

So, the answer would be option b)64.4
